Combined Soup R Saturday with 2nd ward

Soup R Saturday will be on October 15 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Stake Center. Below are pictures of the projects we will be doing. To place your order pick up an order form on the display tables on Sunday. Order forms and money must be turned in by Oct 10 to Jane Bishop (435) 580-4809 (from 3rd ward) and Kathy Jorgenson (801) 450-4809 (from 2nd ward) (Kathy can also be reached at Curves 283-4366)  We will also have some humanitarian projects set out to be worked on so if you do not want to do one of the project  please come and help with one of those projects. There will be soup with bread bowls or bread sticks for lunch.  We look forward to having a wonderful day of crafting and visiting and hope you all come.

 "Eat or Starve" Menu board.  $15.00

This board houses a 12 x 12 sheet of glass that you can write on with a dry erase marker the weekly menu.  The scrapbook paper is meant to be changed out each month with whatever seasonal paper you have or you can keep the original to match your kitchen. Price includes a custom-made wood frame with glass sheet and black vinyl for the " Menu" and "days of the week" and white vinyl for the  "eat or starve" saying.  Total dimensions are 18 3/4 inches square.  (Yeah, I know it it kinda big!!)

The prices you see are for the vinyl, masking tape, etching cream, and brushes used to create the etching.

Picture holders for the change out boards.  

Price $8.00 for 3 frames.  These are metal sheets mounted on wood plaques that will hang from the knobs of your change out board.  You can use these inbetween the other seasonal boards and place pictures of your kids on them.  Price for an additional change out board is also $8.00.

How to night- Feb. 16th - crafts start @ 6 p.m.

 Lucky Shamrocks $15.00   Measure 9 inches by 16 inches

Takes about 45min- 1 hour.  Mostly because of dry time and, Yes!!! I put the last shamrock on backwards. (sigh) that is just how it will be.  You can do your correct.  :)

Okay, this craft is a bit different.  You have to come up with a picture and then Dawn Dart will photoshop the Proclamation as an overlay on top for about $4-$5.00.  This includes a quality 8x10 print.  Here are three examples of styles you can choose from.  Color, Light- Saturation, or Black and White.  

Now, here is the trick, you must own copyright to the photo and then email the picture to Dawn by Feb.8th.

We will also have some sort of humanitarian project there.  It may be a quilt that needs to be ties or relief kits that need to be assembled.  Please feel free to come out and visit, we may even have soup and bread sticks.  We are still in the planning process on that one!

All projects will be on display next Sunday by the East foyer by the Primary Room.  ALL WOOD PROJECTS NEED TO BE SIGNED UP FOR AND PAID FOR BY SUN. OCT 31ST.  I will order on Monday Nov. 1st. Wood projects take two weeks prior notice for holiday rush.  Thanks!

September Craft Night Tuesday Sept. 7th, 5-8 pm -UPDATED-

Great way to show off the kid's artwork from the new year!

We will have paint in the colors of pink, blue, purple, red, black and brown.

A large beach bag size. Made from a rug and some ribbon.  Very easy and quick.

We have some Halloween window cling vinyl. (pictured bottom center) These can be adhered to tiles or boards for a cute decoration. There will not be a sign up for these.  We only have a limited supply and it will be first come first served.  We will provide supplys, boards, tile, modge podge.   Cost will be $2.00

We didn't have a chance to get a fall decoration put together for the change out boards.  SORRY!!!!  We will have an awesome Christmas decoration coming in November!!

September Craft Night

The new date for craft night is September 9th.  Kristy Clark is the hostess and the one to talk too.  Here is a sneak peak at the line up.  We will be making a board with vinyl and clips to hold our kids artwork  that says "look what I did!"  Also, Kristy will show us how to  make a SIMPLE tote from a $1 rug with a few SIMPLE seams from a sewing machine. Tiffanie Baker will have a fall decoration for the change out boards.  I will have a cheap halloween craft with tile and window clings.  So, if any of you have any leftover tile around, let me know!  We will post picture ASAP.  Thanks for looking!
